** Description changed: It is not possible to change the brightness on my Samsung p560 Laptop. The OSD shows up when using the brightness keys, but the brightness is not changed. I am not sure which package this problem is in. I can only change the brightness before booting ubuntu. - I have the Intel GMA4500 gpu, and this has been an issue since around - 9.04. There is some information in this bugreport: - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/338182, which - describes a different issue. Sadly any nvidia tools will not help. + I have the Intel GMA4500 gpu, and this has been an issue since around 9.04. + There is some information in this bugreport: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/338182, which describes a different issue. + And an old bugreport set as wont fix: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/338173 + Sadly any nvidia tools will not help.
