Public bug reported: Binary package hint: burn
If device is set to "0, 0, 0", cdrecord will fail: wodim: No write mode specified. wodim: Asuming -tao mode. wodim: Future versions of wodim may have different drive dependent defaults. wodim: No such file or directory. Cannot open SCSI driver! For possible targets try 'wodim --devices' or 'wodim -scanbus'. For possible transport specifiers try 'wodim dev=help'. For IDE/ATAPI devices configuration, see the file README.ATAPI.setup from the wodim documentation. "/dev/cdrw" points to the right device and cdrecord will be able to open it. ** Affects: burn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- burn.conf sets device to "0, 0, 0" - should be "/dev/cdrw" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114920 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
