I can confirm this for a Lenovo Thinkpad Z60m as well, since the move to Feisty. My system occasionally crashes when doing CPU intensive stuff like compiling. When the CPU temp. hits around 95, everything shuts down. I don't know if this comment is useful at all, just thought I'd say something, as it's rather important for me to have this fixed very soon. 2.6.20-15-generic kernel.
