** Description changed: Netcf is a library used to modify the network configuration of a system. Network configurations are expressed in a platform-independent XML format, which netcf translates into changes to the system's 'native' network configuration files. Netcf can be used by libvirt to better interact with the host network layout. See bug 520386 for user requests for this functionality in libvirt. URL: https://fedorahosted.org/netcf/ License: GNU LGPL Notes: The netcf developers implemented support for Debian's - /etc/network/interfaces file (BIG thanks!) I've created a candidate - package based on the current upstream, posted at: - http://people.canonical.com/~serge/netcf-0.1.9-package.tar.gz + /etc/network/interfaces file (BIG thanks!)
