Public bug reported: I habitually run as:
sudo usb-creator-gtk -n -i <filename.iso> Perhaps 2 out of 3 times it fails with no message but return code 139. This started happening with natty, and continues with oneiric. Occasionally it fails with return code 1, in which case the stick appears good if I 'sync' before removing it. Often when it fails with 139 it has no bootloader. I suspected the USB sticks I was using (Patriot XPorter XT 4GB), so bought a different stick (Mushkin Ventura 8GB) and yet I got the same problem. If there are debugging options I can initiate, please let me know. This is something I do multiple times per day and it's causing me significant problems.
