Hi Joseph, I just did this morning when I was notified of the release of 3.1 RC9. There's no change to this particular issue.
dmesg still shows two different informations for the same CPU: The real speed of the CPU first and then the wrong pstate 0 on powernow-k8, resulting in lower performance of the CPU in comparison to when running same machine on Windows environment. I have verified that current kernel sources contain the mentioned patch (http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=b810e94c9d8e3fff6741b66cd5a6f099a7887871). So, for some reason I cannot identify, the patch does not work anymore for this CPU. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835431 Title: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T cpu (Turbo Core Feature Again) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/835431/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
