Took a minute to figure out what was going on. Did fresh install of
Ubuntu 11.10 on Dell E6420 with an Intel Ultimate-N 6300 NIC, and the
Wifi is not acting right. My router is a Netgear N-600 Dual band router
running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/14/11) std. Never had a problem with my
router before this. I didn't need to change my laptop config because
the router has two radio interfaces. I can only use the B/G radio.
(Separate SSID's for B/G and N) Seems the Ultimate-N 6300 keeps wanting
to call the CRDA to update the world regulatory domain. Then it
deauthenticates from my access point, soon after that, my router locks
up knocking everyone off of all its interfaces.
