Hello, again me. I also had problem with Evolution. After the last upgrade to the Evolution 2.10.1 in the Ubuntu 7.04 distribution, the filtering system doesn't work. I use IMAP4 to connect to our exchange server. When you hit CTRL-Y an error message says [no provider for protocol "mail"]. I noticed that the protocol system from Evolution 2.4 to the new 2.6 is changed from "file" to "mail", so the old reference saved by the migration now doesn't work.
You have to manually re-edit all your filtering rules and re-select the destination folders, after this all works again. Good Luck !
