Can confirm 'buggy' behavior here... I'm getting the same issue, I am running Gnome Shell...
In addition to the OP's description.., I also noticed that if I try to re-size a pane (like sliding the playlist pane up into the album covers), this will capture my pointer's state (into the vert. arrows (resize) and once it went to 'grab' hand state) and keep it in this state, preventing me from being able to do anything else, on any desktop in any application (hmmmm) I had even tried clicking on other apps to get focus, even though the pointer indicated that it was thinking something else, and still nothing, which is why...I then have to drop to a terminal (ctrl-alt-f4) and killall banshee to get it all back. The final straw that prompted a web query (and a break from work) and brought me here, is that I tried to open the 'preferences' dialog and it froze....again :) I want it to minimize to the tray, that don't seem to happen either... Don't know if this holds any clues, but Exhaile has exhibited some similar behavior as well.., which is why I tried Banshee again (typically I use Exhaile) Learning my lesson here, not messing with the interface :) Other than not having much of interface functionality...seems ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878589 Title: banshee interface freezes 2 seconds after first mouse click To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/878589/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
