Public bug reported: Iirc got seriously broke in 11.10. The mythbuntu-lirc-generator has two problems...
First, it doesn't want to follow the "include </etc/lirc/lircd.conf.gnome>" statement at the end of /etc/lirc/lircd.conf. It errors with "/etc/lirc/lircd.conf.gnome file not found", even though it exists. Second, if I manually append the contents of lircd.conf.gnome to lircd.conf, although gnome-lirc-properties doesn't like it, mythbuntu- lirc-generator will generate proper files in ~/.lircrc, however, both volume up/down lines generate a volume down activity. All profiles must be manually edited to assure that volume up/down are correct.
