The touchscreen don't stop working, but it waits for a multi-touch gesture, and occurs only when pressed while you press with one finger on the screen, also press the second finger. At this time the device waits for multitouch gestures, and does not recognize that the fingers were lifted from the touch screen. Try running ginn to understand the problem. If you are running a multi-touch gesture by pressing it with both fingers, the tablet does not bug throughout the session.
