I think nspluginwrapper was my problem.  I had a canon mp600 printer
install that I used a i386 configuration script to install, that
included installing a nspluginwrapper that I don' t know the source of.
I had a system that was working fine, then I tried to upgrade that
didn't work.  I did a clean install not I have a system that is highly
unstable.  I am going back to 11.04. I may try to upgrade again in a few
months. If I still have problems I am going back to Fedora.
