So it looks you had 2 issues and still have 1:
1) Your Epson Stylus 895 printer is not listed in KDE Printing Manager, this is
a known issue and has already been reported as bug #99372. A workaround for
installing your printer in KDE is using the CUPS web interface:
http://localhost:631/ from your web browser.
2) You were unable to print because you have installed the openprinting
distribution independent gutenprint package, which happens to be the same
version as the cupsys-driver-gutenprint ubuntu package in Ubuntu Feisty. This
part has been resolved by removing the openprinting distribution independent
gutenprint package with the above commands.
Since issue (1) caused you to install the openprinting distribution
independent gutenprint package which gave you issue (2) and issue (1)
has been resolved I will now close this bug report as a duplicate of bug
#99372.
