I initially reported this graphical glitch with a screenshot and have been testing it since 3.2 and haven't been able to reproduce it with the latest upgrades yet, it has a very sporadic behavior.
What I meant with Fedora is that distribution has the latest gconf/glib/gobject libraries yet I haven't looked at what versions and maybe the fix is already in upstream as would seem with the latest upgrade. Complementary to this, killing gconfd-2 effectively reproduces the bug. It might seem what ever was crashing gconf-2 before isn't now and that gnome-shell does not have an adequate fallback mechanism for when this happens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/853582 Title: gnome-shell apps overlapping over wrong activities desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/853582/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
