Public bug reported: Sometimes, an installation performed by Muon freezes.
Qaptworker does not crash. Muon does not crash. dpkg simply stops running. The only solution I have found for this is to manually kill qaptworker and muon and run dpkg --configure -a myself. I have attached an excerpt of history.log from in installation where this problem occurs. I have yet to find a specific package which will cause this problem consistently. I have filed this bug under qapt rather than muon because I believe the issue is with qaptworker. ** Affects: qapt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to qapt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877595 Title: Installation of a large number of packages freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qapt/+bug/877595/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
