Public bug reported:

Iit seems like there's a typo in the patch for newer lenovo thinkpads.
While thinkpad_ec.c now adds TP_DMI_MATCH("LENOVO", "ThinkPad") to the
whitelist, this wasn't sufficient on my ThinkPad T420.

The reason is, that the 'p' in 'pad' is uppercased. When I lowercase it
("Thinkpad"), the module builds and loads as expected.

** Affects: tp-smapi (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
