Public bug reported:
the system takes more than 5 min to boot and then Unity is very slow to
login it takes more than 20min and when it finally does only nautilus
runs. I can not access the Unity menu or anything else. Everything is
very slow and this system is a core i5 with 8GB of RAM. I am only able
to post this by installing gnome-shell and posting from that. Even
gnome-shell is very slow.
