Hello there! The form assistant behaviour depends on the used Java Runtime environment. When I use Java 6 from Sun, installed via the repositories, the Form Assistant simply doesn't start, like described above. Same with Sun Java 5. When I use the Java that came with ubuntu (I think so, i didn't install it but it appears in the list of available runtime environments in openoffice) the form wizard starts but won't finish. I can do all settings I want on my form, I just can't finish the wizard to use it.
In fact, the wizard doesn't run with any JRE I tried out. I think the bug priority is wrong for openoffice is one of the core components of ubuntu. Installing the *.debs from http://openoffice.org solves the problem. -- [Feisty] Openoffice.org Impossible to start the Form creation wizard in OpenOffice Base https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104749 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
