This was expected, see the following changelog entry from gnome-python- desktop:
gnome-python-desktop (2.32.0-0ubuntu3) oneiric; urgency=low * debian/control.in: Drop python-brasero. Brasero is GTK 3 now, thus the binding doesn't work any more. This will break pybackpack as the only reverse dependency, until it gets ported to GI. * debian/control.in: Drop python-evince. Evince is GTK 3 now, thus the binding doesn't work any more. This will break current sugar-read-activity, but this is being ported to GI upstream. -- Martin Pitt <martin.p...@ubuntu.com> Tue, 31 May 2011 12:14:15 +0200 ** Package changed: gnome-python-desktop (Ubuntu) => pybackpack (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: pybackpack (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: pybackpack (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875021 Title: Unable to install Pybackpack in Oneiric - missing dependency To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pybackpack/+bug/875021/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
