This is very confusing to the user. For example I get some error messages from Thunderbird while browsing with Firefox. When this happens, Thunderbird is brought to the front all of a sudden, but the Firefox window still remains technically active. Clicking the Firefox icon does nothing, since the window is active even though I can't see it. The only way to get Firefox to the front is to first click some other launcher icon to deactivate Firefox.
The Unity launcher icons should always and in any situation bring the clicked application to front. In my opinion this is a bug, not wishlist. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774305 Title: Clicking active window icon doesn't do anything To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/774305/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
