I am seeing frequent freezes in Ubuntu 11.10. I did not have this
problem in 11.04 with the same hardware. I have not been able to find
the trigger for the freezes, but they always happen within the first
twenty minutes or so after booting. They occur in Unity mode and in
classic mode, and also in the 2D or the no-effects modes. In most cases,
I can reboot using SysRq-Alt-K-RSEIUB.
Please let me know what logs or tests I should upload to diagnose this
problem.
