I find this workaround works for me.

Reinstall GRUB with

sudo grub-install --module="part_msdos" --root-directory=(your_mount)
(your_dev_file)

It's able to reboot now.

To make it easier for later kernel updates, just put part_msdos into
grub-install line "modules="
