actually, no players can play any VCD. As for Bug #43589, the culprit is
gstreamer which existed in Dapper and affected some players and seems to
resurfaced in Feisty. A couple of affected upstreams are added which
includes MPlayer, Gxine, and VLC. So this bug qualifies as a duplicate.
Of course, I still need to get in touch with a few devs so we can
clarify this issue. I appreciate your comments and will update this bug
and Bug #43589 if once we have a word from them.
