That device is erroring out at registration. Are you sure there is enough 
signal for it to be activating (sorry, just making sure ;)

Otherwise it might be because the device itself isn't quite supported.
To know for you, we'll need more information. Please follow the steps at
http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/Debugging (in the section
"Debugging NetworkManager 0.8 and 0.9 3G connections") and attach the
debug logs from ModemManager to this bug report. Thanks in advance!
