Public bug reported:

I'm using a fresh-install of Ubuntu 11.10 in a Intel 965GM video board,
with an external monitor connected, configured one above the other. The
problem is, when I activate the expo plugin to change the current
virtual desktop, the effect shows plainly wrong and corrupted, like in
the screenshot attached. Trying to change the virtual desktop (despite
the corruption) doesn't work.

The bug is *not* triggered with only one screen configured or with two
screens in a left-right configuration.
