After update to oneiric, aptitude gave me strange the option of removing 125 packages. I had told it to forget the changes then search for broken packages, it picked up qdbus. With synaptic I installed qdbus and removed qdbus:i386; Back to aptitude and the suggested removals are gone.
Now forget new packages resets after update and 6 unneeded (not recommended) packages get auto selected for install, guessing all down to this bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/831768 Title: aptitude cannot handle conflicts with multiarch enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptitude/+bug/831768/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
