Public bug reported:

i try install ubuntu 11.10 on a lenovo x121e.
first I have to remove a script with:
sudo rm /usr/lib/ubiquity/apt-setup/generators/40cdom

this prevents that the setup try to add the not existing cd to the
repositories.


when the installation ask where to install, I choose the defult option. install 
on first hdd with 1 big partition. after filling the remaining forms, the 
installation continue....
until the grub2 is installed. during this process the error message comes 
"unable to install grub-efi to /target/"

due to this error the installation is aborted
