Request status change. Problem recurred when updating to LibreOffice 3.4.3.
This time, when I purged the old installation and reinstalled as I did the first time, the options dialog did not reappear. This means that instead of being able to create the PDF documents I need in LibreOffice, I have to export the entire document to PDF and then use pdftk at the command line to create the custom reports that I need to send to different departments.
