I have this issue as well. It works after installing but after reboot error appears again. So I have to purge likewise-open and reinstall it to make Likewise work. Version of likewise-open is 6.1.0.406-0ubuntu4. System is up to date (2011-10-13: ) What else can I provide to help detecting the problem?
