Also having this type of problem with my Latitude C610 laptop. When I had Edgy installed, pushing the power button would bring the Shutdown menu with all the options: Shutdown, Restart, Hibernate, etc.
Now in Feisty, it only _occasionally_ comes up. Sometimes the button won't respond at all. I'll test it out, but I think it has something to do after I close the lid and open it up again.
