Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.22-1-xen
Hi, Just installed 2.6.22-1-xen kernel. There are two problems for this package: 1) The description on page http://packages.ubuntulinux.org/gutsy/base/linux-image-2.6.22-1-xen mentiones that this package shall be installed by using linux-xen metapackage, which doesn't exist in Gutsy. 2) The package, even though installed with all other necessary tools (with ubuntu-xen-desktop metapackage), does not boot as Dom0, but successfully boots as DomU or normal kernel. It gives the error: "ELF start or entries are out of bounds". Hipervisor - Kernel mismatch? Or the comment about booting as Dom0 is wrong? (I've never seen any kernel above 2.6.20 which is able to boot as Dom0).
