After further testing and elimination of cards, it seems like the C-1500 card is the one that causes a problem when changing channels (intermittently). The module used by this card is `budget_ci'. It does not use any firmware. It would appear that the problem is with the drivers of this card. In that case, I will try the latest Mercurial drivers for it and see if there is any improvement.
