Ah, ok. That's odd then - you might be right about them being obsolete, and I also don't understand how those prefs tie into triggering this bug. :( It might initially seem that a PS path in that pref would trigger PS behavior which triggers this bug -- but that's not the case in my profile. I have two "print_to_filename" prefs, and they're both full paths of PS files (not PDF files), and yet I default to PDF files.
