Public bug reported: This was the default behavior in Ubuntu 10
Now by default *.bat files are executable but *.sh are not. I have no way to change this without some console mayhem. I cannot run for example applications based on tomcat on a fat partition without rewriting their scripts because everywhere they use ./catalina.sh instead of sh catalina.sh ** Affects: udev (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/865167 Title: When mouting fat all files should be executable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udev/+bug/865167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
