Romualdou, the steps are first for the bug to get "confirmed", which
means that there is enough evidence that it really happened to you
and/or somebody else experienced the same, and then to get "triaged",
which means somebody authorized has determined that the report contains
all the information needed for the developers to work in it.

You are right that at this moment nobody  is looking at this specific
report, but there could be some similar report being worked upon. So
things that can be done is looking for bugs that could be duplicates, or
trying to provide more specific steps to reproduce the bug.
