Public bug reported: Just upgraded my workstation to 11.10 for testing. It regularly goes to (sleep?) after about 30ish minutes. The screen is still on with a blinking cursor displayed in the upper left. The power and reset button lights on my workstation flash like it's in sleep mode. Looking at the Gnome power settings, I see that it's set to "Suspend when inactive for: Don't suspend" and "When power is critically low: <blank>"
Tweaking those settings doesn't appear to affect it going to sleep. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864182 Title: 11.10 suspends regardless of setting in gnome power settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/864182/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
