Hi I think you can solve this problem by simply removing the ehci_hcd module from the kernel.
You can do that with "sudo rmmod ehci_hcd". Unfortunately it seems to be necessary to do this on every reboot. This module is buggy (atleast thats what it says in http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2006-08/msg03117.html). I had the same problem and the above fix worked for me!
