** Description changed:

  Hello,
  I want to port my GTK application (audio-recorder) to GTK/GNOME 3.
  Is it right that libgnome-media-profiles-3.0-0 depends on GConf2? Shouldn't
all GNOME 3 apps use GSettings (and DConf) instead of Gonf?

- I got this error message:
+ I got this error message when running pkg-config --libs:
  $ pkg-config --libs libgnome-media-profiles-3.0
      Package gconf-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
      Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gconf-2.0.pc'
      to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
      Package 'gconf-2.0', required by 'GNOME Media Profiles', not found.

  Should libgnome-media-profiles-dev have libgconf2-dev as dependency? I did
  $ sudo apt-get install libgnome-media-profiles-dev

  I had to install libgconf2-dev manually to avoid the above error.
