Okay... I am not sure if perhaps this is related to the memory leak or not—if it is not, it may be something similar to another open bug or something, but I was going through my .xsession-errors file looking for something else, and I happened upon this. It coincided with my crash from GAIM earlier today, but apport did not kick up a report bug dialog for it.
