We still cannot do this in the current version of Unity 2D, in Oneiric
Beta 2.

Why is it marked wishlist? Surely this is an unnecessary inconsistency
between Unity and Unity 2D. All that is required is for the shift
modifier to cause a new window to open, just as it does in standard
Unity.
