Thanks Deltik, but as I said, I was using 2.6.38-11.51~pre201109230902 from https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/pre-proposed when I put the comment. Wasn't it the version to which the patch was applied? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I now have the 2.6.38-12 one from https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/pre-proposed and still have the same problem.
If I'm wrong, could anyone please tell me where I can get the one with the patch applied?
