I have the same problem running a application using wine on kubuntu oneiric amd64 with graphics driver nvidia-current-updates. As a workaround for me helps lib preloading LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/nvidia-current-updates/libGL.so.1 wine <prg name>
