Hi.

I'm having the same problem with the fireestarter daemon failing to
start on boot-up.

Another solution I found in
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=2513846&postcount=14 is to change
the firestarter prefix in /etc/rc2.d from S20 to a slightly bigger value
(in the example S22).

This seems to permit the firestarter service to start normally.
