Public bug reported: When a custom cursor theme is set for GNOME, GTK+ 3 apps do not use the theme's selection cursor (i.e. the "normal" cursor, used for selection, pointing, etc). What looks like the selection cursor from the default cursor theme is used instead. The custom theme's cursors are used for most (every?) other cursor, for example resizing windoes or hovering over a link.
This does not occur in GTK+2 apps. This started happening after upgrading to oneiric, it was not an issue under Natty+GNOME3 PPA. To reproduce: 1. apt-get install dmz-cursor-theme 2. gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-theme DMZ-AA 3. notice in GTK+ 3 apps the selection cursor is white, all other cursors are black. ** Affects: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/859344 Title: Cursor theme not being used for the selection cursor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+3.0/+bug/859344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
