Public bug reported:

After installing the gedit-latex-plugin on oneiric I can't find the
latex-plugin in Edit -> Preferences -> Plugins. Maybe this happens
because the plugin is installed in /usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins and not in
/usr/lib/gedit/plugins like the other plugins.
