Public bug reported:

When exiting Firefox using the menu File --> Quit Unity crashes, the entire
screen goes blank for about 30 seconds and Unity restarts. This has occurred
several times, seemingly after running firefox for extended periods of time.
No error message is presented.

Other times, when exiting Firefox, the firefox process does not seem to
stop or takes an extended length of time to stop and am unable to launch
a new instance of firefox.

Description: Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)

I expect firefox to successfully and cleanly close down when quiting.

Instead firefox does not close down cleanly. Rather: 1. It crashes
unity 2. The process fails to stop.

** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
