Hi, Using Feisty on IBM T40p, Atheros card, I was suffering the same disconnection problem. I first thought it was related to LP #37821. But recompiling the network-manager package with Fionn's patch (and setting timeout to 20000 at GNOME session start) totally solves the problem (i've been connected 12h so far and the connexion never dropped ; before it used to drop every 2 to 10 minutes ; i didn't change anything in the AP config and i'm nt moving the computer, i'm @home).
(Note that i had to manually disable debian/patches/21_* to make the package compile...) Too bad it comes after the feisty release, but *too great it works* ! thanks. -- Wireless network keeps reconnecting (ubuntu edgy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/64173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
