...but I'm not sure about Step 1.  What is the graphics card warm up
(and how does one disable it)?  I think I am  up against Bugs 109403
and/or 109762 (hibernate works, but resume fails (after suspend) with
SCSI I/O "dead device" errors...).  I'm flailing pretty hard, here, so I
thought I'd give this a whirl.
