With last kernel undates, the problem disapeared.
$ uname -a
Linux UC591 3.0.0-11-generic #18-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 13 23:38:01 UTC 2011 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ dpkg -l | grep linux-generic
ii linux-generic 3.0.0.11.12
Complete Generic Linux kernel
