Well, bug #832022 was marked as a duplicate in error because it's not a bug at all. The bug report title shows that the submitter has a modified changelog.Debian.gz file on his system.
Multiarch requires that any file shipped in the package for more than one architecture must be the same in all copies of the package. Our archive builds ensure that this is the case for files such as /usr/share/doc/libglib2.0-0/changelog.Debian.gz. That you have a a file that doesn't match means you don't have the official version of this file: either you have a locally-built version of the package, or you have disk corruption. Either way, you need to run apt-get install --reintall libglib2.0-0 libglib2.0-0:i386 to correct this local issue on your system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835625 Title: apt may try to unpack a foreign-arch multiarch library before the native package is at a multiarch version, prohibited by dpkg To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/835625/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
